Shane Lathrop, Store Owner/Manager
Shane started at Total Floor Covering in 1992 as an installer' helper. He worked with many installers and began to learn and understand the art of installing tile, craftsmanship of wood and the many tricks of the trade for carpet. Shane then moved on to the warehouse at Total Floor Covering for a while and then into sales and managing. By actually working in every aspect of the store, Shane not only understands and appreciates the technical aspects of flooring and its installation, but all the employees at Total Floor Covering as well. Shane is very proud to own and manage Total Floor Covering. His desire for 100% customer satisfaction is a goal that he takes very personally and seriously. Shane is passionate about the environment and encourages green flooring. He is consistently exploring new, affordable, and innovative ways to make Total Floor Covering more eco-friendly. Shane is also very involved in our community and giving back. Amy Bobula,
Interior Designer
I enjoy helping others design their homes to be warm, inviting and customized for there lifestyle.
Because I have always had an interest in architecture and design, I attended Fox Valley Technical College and received an Associates Degree in Interior Design. My internships gave me the privilege of working in commercial space planning and residential floor covering. I have been helping people in the floor covering industry for over seven years.
My career gives me the wonderful opportunity to meet new people and learn new styles, trends and products that our ever-changing industry provides.
When I meet with you, I like to learn about your lifestyle and find your needs and wants in your home. I will then give you some education on the features and benefits of products which will help you make the best decision for your lifestyle and expectations.
If you are having difficulty coordinating all the design aspects, I would be happy to assist you in the decisions of color and design for all areas of your home including furniture, countertops, wall colors, window treatments and wood tones. I take pride in giving all my customers my most attention, honesty and professionalism.
I look forward to meeting you soon.

In 1989 I earned an associated degree from Fox Valley Technical College for Interior Design. While in college I interned at Mokry Carpet was hired and worked there for 2 years. I then worked for another well respected local flooring store for 10 years as a salesperson and as assistant manager.
I started at Total Floor Covering in 2001 and I love our family atmosphere that we have here. Total Floor Covering truly cares about our customers, the employees and the installers.
In 2005, I received a Courtesy Award by the Rotary of Appleton, which is an award given to a person in the service industry who provides a service that goes above and beyond. My longtime customers Ken and Carol Johnston nominated me for the award. I love my customers and they are the reason that I love doing what I do.
Giving back to the community is very important to me which is why I volunteer for many local non profit organizations. I serve as President of Mission: Home, a local organization that provides education programs on personal safety and assists in the search and recovery of the missing; Mid-Day Business & Professional Women, where I was privileged to be co-chair of our annual silent auction for four years which raised money for local non profit organizations and many other volunteer opportunities that are very near and dear to my heart. I have been honored to receive awards for my volunteer services from B.A.B.E.S. Respite & Counseling and Youth Educated in Safety. I am a very faith filled person and believe that honesty and integrity are my strongest attributes.
My job is to find you the right flooring for your home whether the project is large or small. If you are doing a backslash or a 10,000 square foot home, I will take the time and make it special for you.

Candice Hast,
Interior Designer
Born and educated in Appleton, WI. I graduated from Fox Valley Technical College in 2005. My design based internships ranged in scope from hands-on creation of custom wood furniture and soft window treatments to being in the beautiful showrooms of Total Floor Covering and Lerdahl Business Interiors. This gave me the opportunity to experience and now appreciate the production side of design.
Along with six years of customer service experience and an Associates Degree in Interior Design, I've also just celebrated my one year anniversary at Total Floor Covering.
To be a designer really is defined as being a planner or organizer. As an Interior Designer this plan always equates into some form of visual organization. A benefit of being a Designer in flooring is that you can help add texture, color, and warmth to a home that the customer will be in direct contact with on a daily basis. And I look forward to helping every customer find the floor that perfectly compliments their decorating, style, and taste.
